DO YOU DO BASIC CAKES? I JUST WANT SOMETHING ORDINARY

No. We are a high end cakeart business and offer luxurious cakeart at premium prices. Unfortunately, we do not do basic cakes. However we do have other suppliers and associates that we know whom we work in association with and can provide you this service.

WHAT DO YOUR PRICES START AT AND WHAT DOES "STARTING AT" MEAN?

The “starting at” price is the base price for a bouquet/cupcakes/cake with standard flavours. Your quote will increase with premium flavours and if you require special toppers or edible cake toppers (applicable to cupcake bouquets and floral cupcakes). If you required tiered cakes with extra artwork and piping, as all our cakes are signature cakes, this will be reflected in the quote. The quote also takes into account the delivery charge. All of our quotes are based on individual needs

DO YOU OFFER FREE DELIVERY?

Our delivery schedule is as follows

Within 10 mile radius £7

Within 15 miles £10

Within 15-20 miles £15

Within 20-25 miles £20

We offer free delivery on orders of £200 or more (if you live within 10 mile radius of Blooming Lovely)

If your order is over £200 and you live 10-25 miles away, delivery is fixed at £10

Collection from our premises is free.

CAN I COME AND HAVE A LOOK AND PURCHASE CAKES AT ANY TIME?

No.  All of our orders are bespoke and custom made to order. Blooming Lovely Cake is a home-based business.

IF I COLLECT FROM YOU, HOW DO I TRANSPORT MY CUPCAKES/BOUQUET/CAKE SAFELY?

Each cake/bouquet/cupcake is/are packaged in a cake box for protection. We recommend that the box be placed in the boot of your car on a flat surface. If this is not possible then the passenger footwell will suffice.  We would recommend to avoid placing the box on the passenger seat/back seat in case of the cake falling off in transit with sudden braking. Please avoid using heating in your car if the box is placed in the footwell.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY CUPCAKES/CAKE/BOUQUET?

Store at cool, ambient room temperature and out of direct sunlight. We suggest they be consumed within 2 days (on day of collection/delivery and the following day). If cakes are refrigerated they should be brought back to room temperature for approximately 2 hours before consumption. Please note that refrigeration may dry cakes out and spoil the texture/flavour of your cake. Our cakes should not be frozen and do not recommend freezing. 

DO YOU PROVIDE AN INGREDIENT LIST?

Upon request we will provide you with a list of ingredients

I HAVE A NUT AND/OR SOYA ALLERGY. DO YOUR CAKES COME INTO CONTACT WITH NUTS AND/OR SOYA?

This is possible. Our kitchen is not nut or soya free. Although we take every measure to ensure our equipment is cleaned adequately, traces of nut or soya may be present. We cannot guarantee that the cakes do not contain nuts or soya and will not have come into contact with the allergen(s) since it is made in a kitchen that is not nut or soya free. We suggest anyone with a severe nut or soya allergy avoid eating our product.

DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE CAKES?

Yes we do in a variety of flavours! But please note, they are made in a kitchen that contains gluten products and using shared equipment. We suggest anyone that is highly sensitive to gluten avoid eating our product.

DO YOU OFFER REFINED SUGAR FREE CAKES?

Yes please ask upon ordering. However please take into account that refined sugar free cakes tend to be heavier and denser than cakes made with golden caster sugar and brown sugars including muscavado. Therefore the texture of your cakes may differ slightly

ARE YOUR INGREDIENTS ORGANIC?

Yes. We use organic and fair trade flours, sugars, plant based milks and essences when making our cakes.

DO YOU USE NATURAL FOOD COLOURING?

Unfortunately, at the present moment, we don’t. We currently use artificial food colouring and we only use the smallest amount possible to achieve the desired colour required. However we currently have found a natural food colour supplier and are looking to switch all our colours to natural food colour. Please sign up to our mailing list via our website to be kept informed of changes to how we run our business.

HOW SHOULD THE CUPCAKE BOUQUET BE SERVED?

Each guest should pick out a cupcake from the arrangement using the green tissue that surrounds each cupcake. The bouquet structure should not be disassembled to serve. The bouquet packaging is flammable so we DO NOT recommend the use of candles.

YOU OFFER FIXED SIZES WITH YOUR CUPCAKE BOUQUETS. CAN I ADD EXTRA SIZES WITH MY CUPCAKE BOUQUET?

Our typical bouquet sizes are 7, 12, 14 and 19 but we are happy to discuss other sizing options to fit your needs. There are some limitations though to ensure the overall look of the bouquet is not compromised.

CAN I REQUEST A DIFFERENT FLAVOUR CAKE THAN THOSE ADVERTISED ON YOUR WEBSITE?

We will try and accommodate your needs where possible so please ask us on the contact page or over the phone.

CAN I REQUEST CERTAIN FLOWERS?

Absolutely!We are happy always happy to try and accommodate whatever you wish. Please just ask and we will endeavour to provide the flowers in the colour scheme you require
